VRF / VRV Systems

Variable Refrigerant Flow systems are the gold standard for medium to large commercial buildings. A single outdoor unit can serve dozens of indoor units across multiple zones, with each zone independently controlled. VRF systems offer simultaneous heating and cooling in different zones, heat recovery between areas, and exceptional energy efficiency with SEER ratings above 6.0. They are ideal for office buildings, hotels, and mixed-use developments where different areas have different temperature needs at the same time.

Cassette Units

Ceiling-recessed cassette units provide 360-degree airflow distribution, making them the preferred choice for retail spaces, restaurants, and open-plan offices. Mounted flush with the suspended ceiling, they are visually unobtrusive and deliver uniform temperature throughout the space. Four-way cassette units are available in capacities from 2.5 kW to 14 kW, covering rooms from 20 m² to over 100 m². They comply with the EU Energy Labelling requirements for commercial equipment.

Ducted Systems

Ducted systems distribute conditioned air through a network of insulated ductwork hidden above the ceiling or within walls. The indoor unit is completely concealed, with only discreet supply and return grilles visible in the room. This makes ducted systems the aesthetically cleanest option and the best choice for high-end offices, luxury retail, and spaces where visible equipment is undesirable. They also allow for fresh air integration and advanced filtration.

Precision Cooling (Server Rooms)

Server rooms and data centres require precision cooling that maintains temperature within a tight 1-2 degree C band, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our precision cooling solutions include redundant systems (N+1 configuration), continuous temperature and humidity monitoring, automatic alert systems for critical thresholds, and integration with building management systems (BMS). Downtime in a server room can cost thousands per hour, so reliability is paramount.

Office Building

450 m² open-plan office, Budapest suburbs

Installed a Daikin VRV system with 12 ceiling cassette units across three floors. Each floor has independent zone control, allowing different departments to set their own temperatures. The heat recovery function transfers excess heat from the sun-facing side to the shaded side, reducing total energy consumption by 35% compared to the previous split-unit setup. Annual maintenance contract ensures uninterrupted operation.

Retail Space

200 m² fashion boutique, shopping centre

The client required a system that was invisible to shoppers while maintaining a constant 22 degrees C regardless of foot traffic and entrance door usage. We installed four-way cassette units recessed into the suspended ceiling with custom grille covers matching the interior design. Smart sensors adjust output based on occupancy levels, and the system integrates with the centre's central BMS for coordinated operation.

Warehouse

2,000 m² logistics warehouse, Erd industrial zone

Large warehouse spaces present unique challenges: high ceilings, frequent door openings, and the need for even temperature distribution across a vast floor area. We installed a high-capacity ducted system with strategically placed air outlets to maintain a consistent 18-22 degrees C range throughout the facility. Destratification fans at ceiling height push warm air downward during winter, preventing heat from pooling uselessly at the roof level.

Server Room

25 m² on-premises server room, financial services firm

This critical infrastructure installation required N+1 redundancy, meaning two independent precision cooling units where either can handle the full load alone. Temperature is maintained at 22 degrees C with a tolerance of plus/minus 1 degree C. The system includes 24/7 remote monitoring with SMS and email alerts if temperature exceeds set thresholds. A UPS-backed control system ensures that cooling continues even during brief power interruptions.
