Terms & Conditions

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: T&C) apply to the services provided by MAFER-COOL KFT (registered office: 2030 Érd, Hungary; registration number: 13-09-113151; tax number: 13958329-2-13; hereinafter: Service Provider). These T&C apply to all natural and legal persons who use the services of the Service Provider (hereinafter: Client).

3. Services
The Service Provider offers the following services:
- Installation of air conditioning units (split and multi-split systems)
- Air conditioning maintenance and servicing
- Air conditioning repair and troubleshooting
- Heat pump installation and maintenance
- Commercial and industrial HVAC system installation

4. Quotes & Orders
Quotes issued by the Service Provider are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Acceptance of a quote by the Client must be in written form (email, signed quote). The contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order by the Service Provider.
On-site surveys are free of charge. The quote includes the total cost, including materials and labour.
5. Payment
Payment terms are as specified in the quote. General terms:
- A deposit may be requested upon order confirmation (maximum 50% of the total amount)
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of work and issuance of the invoice
- Payment methods: cash, bank transfer
- Payment deadline: as indicated on the invoice, generally 8 calendar days
In case of late payment, the Service Provider is entitled to charge default interest as prescribed by the Hungarian Civil Code.
6. Warranty
The Service Provider provides the manufacturer's warranty on installed equipment and a 2 (two) year full warranty on all work performed. The warranty is conditional upon proper use and completion of the prescribed maintenance.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper use
- Intervention by unauthorised persons
- Force majeure events (lightning, flood, etc.)
- Failure to carry out prescribed maintenance
7. Liability
The liability of the Service Provider is limited to the value of the service. The Service Provider shall not be liable for indirect damages or lost profits. The liability of the Service Provider cannot be excluded or limited for damages arising from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
8. Data Protection
The Service Provider processes personal data of the Client in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination. Detailed information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
9. Complaints
The Client may submit complaints in writing (email, letter) to the Service Provider. The Service Provider will investigate the complaint and respond within 30 days. If the complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, the Client may turn to the competent conciliation body or court.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by Hungarian law. The parties shall primarily resolve disputes through negotiation. In the event of failure, the Budapest Környéki Törvényszék Cégbírósága shall have jurisdiction.
